Death toll from coronavirus rises to 4,861 in Turkey
19 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,861, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Wednesday.
Turkey has so far reported 182,727 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,429 cases in the last 24 hours.
154,640 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.
While 745 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 306 patients who are mechanically ventilated.
A total of 2,773,904 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country.
