According to Worldometer, a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, coronavirus pandemic has so far claimed the lives of more than 134,000 people across the world.

The U.S. has the highest death toll with more than 30,000 fatalities.

Until now, 52,699 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and have been discharged from hospital in the country.
