European Yetim Eli gives milk goats to poor families in Africa
European Yetim Eli, an international help organization based in Mannheim, Germany, has continued its charity works in Africa, giving poor families milk goats.
The organization, which has been helping the orphans and the poor in many countries across the world, engaged in a great deal of charity works such as the construction of mosques and fresh water wells and the delivery of food, clothes and shoes in Africa countries.
With launching "the milk goat project", the organization aims to help poor families in Africa so that they will be able to stand on their feet.
European Yetim Eli gave two milk goats to one each of 120 families who wanted to raise milk goats and make a living in this way.
The Vice President of European Yetim Eli Hüseyin Ateş said that they were trying to provide permanent livelihoods for the poor in Africa with this project.
"We, as the European Yetim Eli, are now in Uganda, one of the countries of Africa continent. We launched "the milk goat project" three months ago. We have carried out the first phase of this project in Kenya, the second phase in Mali. And we are carrying out third phase in Uganda now. We will give two milk goats to one each of 120 families who wanted to raise milk goats and make a living in this way. We want to teach the people to catch a fish in Africa, not just give them a fish. I want to thank the philanthropists, who contributed to this project. May Allah accept from them. There is a need for projects to develop people in this geography. We will continue to carry out 'the milk goat project' in Africa," Ateş said.
