“A high-level IAEA delegation left for Ankara at the official invitation of Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu. The delegation will hold talks with senior Turkish officials on issues of mutual interests,” tweeted Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

This will be the highest diplomatic contact between Turkey and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan after the Taliban took power on Aug. 15.
