HÜDA PAR: Palestinians are having hard times under blockade in Gaza
HÜDA PAR’s Directorate of Foreign Affairs issued Wednesday a press release regarding the external developments.
In the statement, HÜDA PAR touched on the inhumane conditions in Gaza, especially during coronavirus pandemic, and France’s anti-Islamic legislation.
Noting that the Muslims in Gaza had a hard time under the blockade, the HÜDA PAR called for the Turkey, which sent health supplies to 135 countries, to send emergency health supplies to Palestine and take more responsibility.
HÜDA PAR, which invited all international organizations, especially WHO, to heed the call of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, emphasized that Gaza is going through the longest and brutal blockade of human history.
HÜDA PAR pointed out that while even the richest and most powerful countries in the world are experiencing troubles and difficulties due to the Coronavirus epidemic, the humanitarian drama in Gaza under the Zionist blockade is getting worse with each passing day.
“On December 8, 2020, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza region announced that the Coronavirus testing process was stopped at the Gaza Central Laboratory due to the running out of test materials. The Palestinian Ministry of Health urged all relevant units to step in and provide emergency assistance for the supply of materials required for testing,” HÜDA PAR said.
“From here, we call on all international institutions and organizations, especially WHO, to heed the call of the Palestinian Minister of Health, to provide the necessary test kits and necessary health supplies. It was mentioned that Turkey sending health supplies to 135 countries, including countries such as the USA, China and the UK; should send emergency medical supplies needed by the Palestinians and should take more responsibility in this regard.”
“Turkey should not appoint ambassador to the occupation regime”
Underlining that the biggest problem of the Palestinian people is the existence of the zionist regime, HÜDA PAR went on to say: “The Zionist regime does not give the corpses of Palestinians it has killed recently to their families and buries them in military cemeteries. They kill the people whose land they have occupied, and do not deliver their bodies to their families. This is a crime against humanity. It is a violation of international law. Trump is forcing Islamic countries to betray with blackmail to normalize relations with the Zionist regime. Unfortunately, Morocco joined this treason team. Taking steps to normalize as if nothing had happened is to betray the people of Jerusalem and Palestine and to be a part of the crimes committed by the Zionist regime. The next process is said to be rekindled relations with Turkey and the Zionist regime will be appointed new ambassador to Tel Aviv. We hope that the government and Mr. President will not take such a step. If Turkey takes such a step, it will deal a heavy blow to the Jerusalem case. It should be known that the normal thing is to end relations with the Zionist regime completely and stand by the Palestinian people.”
“France must withdraw anti-Islamic law”
HÜDA PAR emphasized that France is turning anti-Islamism into state policy with the new anti- terrorism legislation.
“The legislation, which severely restricts the rights and freedoms of Muslims under the pretext of fighting radicalism, has drawn the reaction of many human rights organizations, especially the UN Human Rights Council. The legislative bill, which was drafted with a discriminatory mentality, enacts the intervention in both social and private lives of Muslims by envisaging a systematic profile. The bill, which aims to bring Islam under the control of the state under the name of freedom of expression, prevents the arrival of religious officials from abroad, homeschooling, and the financing of religious affairs from abroad. Even providing homeschooling to children will be subject to permission to be blacklisted, and the association may be dissolved due to the crimes committed by a member of the association. However, associations will be subject to a heavy political and financial control. Opening separate mosques for women or carrying out their activities will be prohibited; Swimming pools will cease to serve women and men at different hours. The government, which strictly controls marriage applications, exposes couples to psychological violence by enabling the prosecutor's office to step in when necessary. Upon the suspicion of the law enforcement, people can be labeled as terrorist criminals without a court decision. The bill, which includes the exposure of people who openly hatred against Islam and spread hate speech as a serious crime, will arbitrarily prevent people who are objectionable from giving in mosques and taking part in association administrations.”
“UN and international human rights organizations should take action against this policy of France”
HÜDA PAR also called on the UN and international human rights organizations to prevent France from committing of these discriminatory and separating serious human rights violations.
HÜDA PAR concluded the statement as follows: “Considering that the European Court of Human Rights is located in Strasbourg, France, it is thought-provoking that France itself enacted laws that contradict the European Convention on Human Rights in the highest veil. The fundamental rights of the Convention such as respect for private and family life, freedom of thought, religion and conscience, freedom of assembly and association, prohibition of discrimination, restriction of foreigners’ political activities, right to marry will be violated with the legislation.”
