Kurdistan records 25 new coronavirus cases

25 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Kurdistan Region, bringing the number of cases to 532 in the country, the Health Ministry announced on Thursday.

9 of the new cases were recorded in the region’s capital city of Erbil and 16 in Sulaimani province.

The first case of COVID-19 infection in Iraqi Kurdistan was confirmed on the 1 March.

Kurdistan has so far reported 532 confirmed coronavirus cases, with 5 deaths and 407 recoveries.
