Moroccan prime minister rejects normalization with zionist occupation regime
Moroccan Prime Minister Saad-Eddine el-Othmani underlined that normalization with Zionist occupation regime encourage violation of Palestinian rights.
Speaking at the opening session of the youth wing of the Justice and Development Party (PJD) on Sunday, El Othmani silenced speculation and highlighted Palestinian rights and the protection of Al Aqsa mosque.
“We refuse any normalization with the Zionist occupation regime because this encourage it to go further in breaching the rights of the Palestinian people,” el-Otmani said.
El-Othmani’s remarks came after the announcement of the planned visit of U.S. President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to the region.
With his visit, Kushner aims to advance negotiations between Zionist occupation regime and some Arab states.
On August 13, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Gargash, announced the UAE's agreement to normalize relations with Zionist regime saying that his country wanted to deal with the threats facing the two-state solution, specifically annexation of the Palestinian territories, and urging the Palestinians and Zionist occupation regime to return to the negotiating table,
On the other hand, there are numerous media reports claiming that some Arab states, including Oman, Bahrain and Sudan, are likely to follow suit.
