Mullah Mizgin recounts the personality of the late Fesih Güler

Mehmet Beşir Varol, aka Mullah Mizgin, has recounted the personality of Fesih Güler, who was one of distinguished figures of Turkey's Hizbullah Jamaah and lost his life at age 49 due to complications related to Covid-19.

Fesih Güler, who was subjected to heavy tortures and inhumane treatment during 28 February post-modern coup period and was imprisoned for years as a result of a FETO conspiracy, died on Agust 18 in a private hospital where he was being treated for coronavirus pandemic.

Mullah Mizgin, the teacher of the late Fesih Güler, spoke to Ilke News Agency about Fesih Güler’s outstanding personality.

Stating that the death of Güler greatly has made them very sad in 3 aspects, Varol said: “First, we are relatives on the occasion of being the uncle of my two brides-in, the second is that we are acquainted in the same Islamic cause and the third is because we stayed together in prison. Of course, we are always pleased with Allah's will. Maybe such a situation was better for us and for him. But our hearts are hurt. May Allah bless Fesih Güler, rejoice him with his paradise. May Allah; give patience to us, his family, relatives and friends.”

“Our brother Fesih had both talent and good morals”

Varol continued his remarks as follows: “As I mentioned, I was close to Fesih Hodja in 3 aspects. As far as I noticed in the family, I did not witness anyone complaining about him. He was a person who was loved by his family. Likewise, in his circle of friends, I have never heard anyone speak of him badly. As a matter of fact, one who has a bit of bad morality is definitely mentioned. But I did not come across a single negativity against him. The only thing I witnessed was the love and affection of those who knew him. That's why, especially those in contact were really upset by the news of death. “

“There are many people, they are talented but their morality is narrow or, conversely, they are moral, but they have no talent.” Varol said, “Therefore, the benefits of such people are less. But our brother Fesih had both talent and good morals. Because of these features, he was loved by his friends. As a matter of fact, despite the danger of the Coronavirus epidemic, his friends did not leave him alone and participated in his funeral.”

“His loyalty to his cause was the same in his last breath as the first day.”

Referring to Güler's good morals, Varol mentioned: “Another aspect of his good morality was his being very honest. In other words, traits such as self-interest, betrayal and deceiving people were completely far from his nature. His morality was built on sincerity. His loyalty to his cause was the same in his last breath as the first day. This situation gave confidence to the people around him.”

Referring to the prison process, Varol said: “Another of our acquaintances was from the prison. We were staying together in the same room in Diyarbakır D-Type Prison. People cannot learn each other's morals fully unless they stay in the same environment. During the prison process, we saw nothing but reverence in him. He knew where to talk about what to talk about, how to behave with his elders, and how to establish a dialogue with the prison administration. He would act with reason and wisdom. During the time we were together, I did not know any attitude that could disturb us in the slightest. “

Explaining that he gave Islamic lessons to the deceased Güler and other Islamic court prisoners he stayed with, Varol said: “In this respect, they had a very different respect towards me. They never gave me the opportunity to wash the dishes and prepare food. They would not even allow me to wash my own clothes, they wanted to wash themselves. Of course, I wouldn't allow that. As a matter of fact, sometimes they washed my clothes when they took the opportunity to go to hearings or go to the infirmary. I mean, they knew they had to show respect to the elders. “

“We could not see anything in him other than relief, kindness, patience, self-sacrifice and good morals”

Drawing attention to the effects of prison conditions on people, Varol said: “Prison life is not comfortable, there are problems. There, the morality of the person is completely revealed. In fact, many people have high morals in civilians, and when they are put in prison, their morals are narrowed. But in him; We could not see anything but refreshment, kindness, patience, sacrifice and good morals. I would like to point out that many people exaggerate when they talk about others. There is no exaggeration in my statements, even there are shortcomings. I cannot fully express his beautiful morals. In other words, he was the epitome of patience, cause, morality, respect and decency.”

Emphasizing the importance Güler gave to Islamic knowledge, Varol said: “He was a teacher before. He started Islamic studies after he was sent to prison. He learned all 12 madrasah sciences such as Sarf, Nahiy, Mantık, Usul and Akaid. Taking lessons from my brother Molla Said, he completed Islamic knowledge from Emsile to Cem'ul Cevami. May Allah have mercy on both of them. They got on better with my brother because they were both of their age and had met before. But despite their sincerity, he would still show respect to my brother.”
