Kailah stated in the daily epidemiological report of coronavirus that 6 deaths have been recorded in the West Bank as follows: Nablus 1, Qalqilya 1, Jenin 2, al-Khalil 1, and Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1 in addition to 7 deaths in the Gaza Strip and 3 in Jerusalem.

The new infections were distributed according to the following: al-Khalil 119, Nablus 206, Bethlehem 103, Qalqilya 47, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 133, Jenin 127, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 12, Salfit 59, Tulkarem 86, Tubas 43, the suburbs of Jerusalem 22, the Gaza Strip 738, and Jerusalem 232, she said.

Kailah said that the recoveries were recorded as follows: al-Khalil 110, Jenin 97, Nablus 74, Tulkarem 27, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 66, Tubas 15, Salfit 6, Qalqilya 36, Jericho and Al Aghwar 16, the suburbs of Jerusalem 109, the Gaza Strip 334, and Jerusalem 85.

The minister noted that the recovery rate of coronavirus reached 78.7 percent while the rate of active infections reached 20.5 percent, and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.

Kailah pointed out that there are 67 critically ill patients who have been admitted to intensive care units including 12 who have been placed on ventilators.
