Saudi-led coalition hits a convoy carrying medicine, foodstuff in Yemen
Saudi-led coalition fighter jets hit Saturday a convoy carrying medicine, foodstuff and household appliances on Affar Customs in Bayda province in Yemen.
Some 11 trucks were destructed in the attack, which aimed at civilian targets.
Three people were injured and several drivers remained unaccounted for, according to the local sources reported.
The search is still underway for survivors until the moment, the sources added.
A two-week ceasefire announced by Saudi-led coalition in Yemen expired on April 23 without leading to a permanent truce.
The Saudi-led coalition on April 24 said it was extending ceasefire in Yemen by one month, the state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) announced, citing a coalition spokesman.
The coalition’s attacks are exacerbating a severe shortage of Medicine and food in Yemen.
