Spain coronavirus: 378 people die in the past 24 hours
Spain has reported 378 new deaths from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the county’s death toll to 22,902.
The number of confirmed cases has been 223,759, an increase of 3,995 cases in the past 24 hours.
More than 95,708 patients suffering from coronavirus have recovered and been discharged from hospital.
Spain has the second-highest coronavirus cases after the U.S. and the third-highest number of deaths after the U.S. and Italy.
The actual number of cases, however, is likely to be much higher, as many people with only mild or no symptoms are unlikely to have been tested. The number of deceased is also believed to be an underestimate due to lack of testing and reporting in the country.
