The number of coronavirus infections nears 3 million in Russia
27,250 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Russia, bringing the number of cases in the country to 2,933,753.
The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 52,461, an increase of 549 deaths in the last 24 hours.
2,343,967 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but currently, Russia has the second-highest number of confirmed cases in Europe after France, and the fourth-highest in the world after the United States, India and Brazil.
The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 1,726,543, with 78,475,413 cases and 55,244,003 recoveries.
