Turkey: 93 people die from coronavirus in the past 24 hours
93 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 3,174, said Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Thursday.
Turkey has so far reported 120,204 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 2,615 cases in the last 24 hours.
1,514 patients are being treated in intensive care unit. Of those, 803 people are mechanically ventilated patients.
48,886 patients have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.
A total of 1,033,617 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country.
