Turkey evacuates 2,807 citizens from European countries due to coronavirus outbreak

The evacuation process of 2,807 Turkish citizens from European countries due to coronavirus outbreak was completed, said Vice President of Turkey Fuat Oktay on Wednesday

"The travelers will remain in quarantine for 14 day in dorms in Istanbul and the northwestern province of Kocaeli to guard against possible cases of coronavirus," Oktay added.

According to Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, an 89 year-old man died from coronavirus outbreak in Turkey on Tuesday.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has reached 98 in the country.
