Turkey records 1,703 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19

More people 57 have died from coronavirus in Turkey, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 6,730, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 281,509 after 1,703 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

While 1,118 patients are in critical condition, 252,152 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

7,883,464 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
