Turkey reports 15 new deaths from coronavirus
15 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,778, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Friday.
Turkey has so far reported 175,218 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,195 cases in the last 24 hours.
149,102 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.
While 664 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 282 patients who are mechanically ventilated.
A total of 2,541,903 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country.
