Turkey sends medical aid supplies to Tunisia amid coronavirus pandemic
Turkey has sent medical aid supplies to Tunisia, the country’s Defense Ministry announced in a statement on Friday.
“Medical aid supplies, prepared at the direction of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for use against the COVID-19 outbreak, have been sent to Tunisia. Along with the medical supplies, a letter from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was also delivered to the officials to be submitted to the President of Tunisia Kais Saied,” the Ministry said.
Turkey has so far sent aid and medical supplies to over 57 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain, to support efforts against coronavirus pandemic.
