Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus pandemic surges to 725
76 more people who tested positive for coronavirus have lost their lives in Turkey, increasing the number of fatalities from the virus to 725, Health Minister, Fahrettin Koca, said on Tuesday.
In a statement that he made after the meeting of Coronavirus Scientific Advisory Board, Koca said that 20,023 tests have conducted today of which 3,892 were positive for the virus, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 34,109.
256 patients have been discharged from hospitals after being cured, he added.
He also urged people to stay at their home in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, which have infected at least 1,394,720, killing more than 79,000 of them worldwide.
