Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus reaches 4,461
30 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,461, said Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Thursday.
Turkey has so far reported 160,979 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,182 cases in the last 24 hours.
124,369 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.
While 683 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 339 patients who are mechanically ventilated.
A total of 1,928,209 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country.
