Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus reaches 6,058
Turkey has reported 19 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 6,058.
In a statement posted on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Thursday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 254,520, after 1,412 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.
While 735 patients are in critical condition, 234,797 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
6,061,930 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
