Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rise to 574, Health Minister says

73 people who tested positive for coronavirus have lost their lives over the past 24 hours in Turkey, bringing the country’s death toll to 574, said Health Minister Fahrettin Koca on Sunday.

The number of confirmed coronavirus case have been 27, 069, including 3,135 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours, the minister said.

1,042 patients have been discharged from hospital after being cured, he added

The first death due to coronavirus disease in the country occurred on March 17 in Turkey.

On March 23, Koca announced that cases of coronavirus had spread all over Turkey.
