Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 3,584
64 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 3,584, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Wednesday.
Turkey has so far reported 131,744 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,253 cases in the last 24 hours.
1,278 patients are being treated in intensive care unit. Of those, 609 people are mechanically ventilated patients.
78,202 patients have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.
A total of 1,234,724 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country.
