Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 4,540
25 people have died from coronaviruspandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,540, said Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Sunday.
Turkey has so far reported 163,942 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 839 cases in the last 24 hours.
127,973 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.
While 648 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 287 patients who are mechanically ventilated.
A total of 2,039,194 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country.
