Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus surpasses 10,000
Turkey has reported 77 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 10,027, the country’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the number of patients reached 368,513, an increase of 2,305 patients over the past 24 hours.
While at least 1,418 patients are in critical condition, 319,181 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
13,606,764 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
