“On August 17, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, who is on a visit to Istanbul to participate in the International Defense Industry Fair IDEF-2021, met with the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Hulusi Akar,” Azerbaijan Defense Ministry said.

“In the course of the visit, the sides noted the significance of developing cooperation in the defense industry and exchanged views on regional security, bilateral relations, and other issues of interest,” the Ministry added.
