WHO: High fever is the first symptom of coronavirus infection
High fever is the first symptom of coronavirus infection, said World Health Organization spokeswoman Margaret Harris.
“People say they wake up in the middle of the night with their minds blurred, they feel terrible, they don't understand what's going on,“ she said.
“The most obvious symptom is chills and fever above 38 degrees. more than 90 percent of patients face this,” she added.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, has until now infected 1,284,665 people, killing more than 65,600 worldwide.
