Wuhan reports 4 new deaths from coronavirus
4 more people have died from coronavirus in Wuhan province of China, where the virus was first identified on November 17, 2019, China’s National Health Commission said on Friday.
31 new cases of confirmed infections ,29 imported cases and 2 indigenous cases in Liaoning and Guangdong provinces, 12 new cases of suspected infections were reported, the NHC said.
163 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 1,990 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases decreased by 50.
A total of 81,620 people were infected with coronavirus pandemic in China. Of those, 3322 patients died from the virus. In all 76,571 patients have been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,727 confirmed cases, including 379 in serious condition and 135 suspected cases.
